What does an activation pool actually mean?
One activation = one install on one device. A customer re-opening your app on a device they already activated doesn't use another one — only new devices count.

What if I need more activations without upgrading my plan?
You can purchase activation top-ups from the Billing page — starting at €9/mo (plus applicable tax) for +500 activations. Multiple top-ups stack. Cancel any top-up at any time from your billing dashboard.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
You can export all your data at any time. After cancellation, data is retained for 30 days before permanent deletion.
Is the free plan really free forever?
Yes. No time limits, no credit card required. The free plan is permanent with its defined limits.
How does zero-knowledge encryption work?
License keys are encrypted in your browser using AES-256-GCM before being sent to our servers. Your passphrase never leaves your device. We store only ciphertext — we cannot read your licenses.
Do you offer annual billing discounts?
Yes — annual billing saves you 20% on Starter and Professional plans. Enterprise pricing is custom and includes annual billing by default.
Where is PermitCore hosted?
On servers physically located in the EU. That's about where your data resides — it doesn't restrict who can sign up: there's no region lock, no EUR-only billing, and the API and Store are reachable worldwide. See Security → Infrastructure and data residency for the full explanation.
